My name is Alexandre Tar. I'm a multi-hyphenate designer.

Usually, creative people don't really like talking to the clients. But, I'm a social bird. As early as I could, I started a freelance career and met a lot of awesome folks. But one of them is a little special… well, first, this guy had shaken me with a big hug and then had shaken a lot of things in my life.

The day I met stylist Ali Kamara in 2017, it was only for one gig. Of course, nothing happened that way and finally, we co-founded a creative studio. Quartier de la Mode is an idea workshop with a deep focus on fashion and luxury brands. We are good at only one thing: helping them to offer meaningfull, unique and beautiful experience.

Life has a terrible way of beating all the madness out of you. That's why I unleash mine every night with the Texas Bunker design-concept. In a few words, it's a mash-up of cowboy imagery, acid vibes, grunge style and 70's fusion-jazz mind free… you're visualising, right?  Soon it will be materialized by the launch of a design label. But right now… it's more about enjoying the process.

Thanks to my wonderful family, I have always been evolving not so far from the stage since my childhood. After gaining knowledge in light engineering at the Opera Bastille and the Royaumont Abbey Foundation, I started touring with companies or advising artists to tell their stories (light, set, video, styling, props).
